Since PHOTONIC was founded as a subsidiary of Swarovski Optik, its core competencies have been continuously expanded. The core competence of the PHOTONIC team comes to the fore especially when sophisticated lighting solutions are required. Choosing the right illuminant for the most natural colour rendering possible and combining a wide variety of wavelengths to excite fluorescent dyes are just two examples of the diverse inquiries that the PHOTONIC team handles on behalf of customers. Optomechatronics’ core competence is also evident in fiber-optic light sources and direct illumination for microscopy, industrial endoscopy, and the ATO series of surgical lights.
